Whether you’re just beginning your designing career, or
your career is in full swing, we recommend contacting the
Craft & Hobby Association, or CHA, to enhance your career
development.CHA is the craft industry’s largest trade
association, and its mission is to create visibility for and
interest in crafts, and to help its members succeed, whether
they are manufacturers, retailers or designers. To help grow the
industry, CHA sponsors two consumer promotions each year:
National Craft Month in March and Celebrate the Season in
September.
CHA also sponsors the industry’s largest trade shows, the
winter and summer CHA Shows. The trade shows include activities
just for the design community. The shows are also the industry’s
premier source for education and product information, and an
excellent venue for networking.
