INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Trace outline of foam disc onto felt; cut out circle. Remove and discard plastic veins from 12 medium ivy leaves. Glue leaves around 2" edge of disc, overlapping them at top and bottom of foam. Glue felt circle to bottom of disc.
2. If necessary, freshen color of moss by diluting bright green acrylic paint with water and spraying it on the moss. Let dry. Cover wreath with a layer of sheet moss; wrap with paddle wire to secure. Stand moss-covered wreath centered on top of disc. Insert U-pins and wooden picks through wreath into disc to attach the foam pieces. Secure with glue.
3. When arranging flowers, use photo as a guide. Place flowers on both sides of wreath so centerpiece is pleasing from all angles. Gently shape stems for a natural appearance. Dip stems into glue before inserting into foam.
4. Insert six pussy willow stems diagonally on top of disc at base of wreath. Insert three approximately 20" pussy willow stems vertically in back of wreath.
5. Insert two tulips in front of wreath and two tulips in back.
6. Glue two sponge mushrooms slightly overlapping to front lower right of wreath. Glue spring bulb with foliage to underlapping mushroom and bird's nest to overlapping mushroom.
7. Glue hyacinths in and around the spring bulb.
8. Cut one 6" and one 24" length of ribbon. Shape and glue 6" ribbon to top right of wreath. Form 24" ribbon in a small bow and wire center to secure. Glue bow to lower back of wreath. Form remaining ribbon in a multi-loop bow and wire center. Glue bow to front lower left of wreath. Trim Vs in ribbon ends.
9. Glue a bird to top of wreath next to ribbon and remaining one in front of nest.
10. Fill in around bows and upper bird with the wax flower, lily of the valley clusters, and ivy. Insert lilacs in lower right of wreath at front and back.
11. Glue a clump of moss inside nest with eggs on top. Also glue moss around base of spring bulb and any other areas where necessary to conceal glue.
