| Instructions |
| 1. Paint pot brown; let dry. Thin small amount orange paint with water. Dip toothbrush into paint and spatter paint pot by running thumbnail across bristles; let dry. Note : Practice spattering technique on paper towels first. |
| 2. Apply a line of hot glue around inside rim of pot. Press raffia to glue, allowing it to spill over rim as shown; let dry. Glue two leaves cut from bush to rim. Open air freshener and place in pot. |
| 3. Wax serrated knife with candle stub or paraffin. Make 1/2" wide, 1/2" deep hole in top of foam ball for pumpkin stem. Slightly flatten area around hole with fingertips. |
| 4. To divide pumpkin into segments, use ruler to divide ball in half, beginning and ending at stem hole. Press metal ruler edge firmly into foam. Repeat, dividing ball into 10 equal sections. Use fingertips to enlarge lines and round foam edges. |
| 5. Cut a 2-3/8"-diameter circle from bottom of pumpkin; discard scrap. Use spoon to carve out foam from inside pumpkin, until it fits over top of air freshener. Remove pumpkin and paint it orange; let dry. |
| 6. Use saw to cut 1-1/4" length from dowel at an angle for stem. Paint stem brown; let dry. Glue flat end of stem and two leaves cut from bush into hole in pumpkin. Replace pumpkin over air freshener. |
| 7. For base, use compass or template to draw and cut 4" circle from cardboard. Glue leaves cut from bush around circle, overlapping and layering as shown. Glue moss to circle center to hide stems. Place pot on base. |
| 8. When gel is depleted, replace with a new air freshener. |
